I am a uk-based illustrator and, under the artist identity "m.scotter" or 'offscot' (all lower-case, thank you), I specialise in narrative-heavy and character centric work. I draw on my own knowledge of narrative structure and inter-social dynamics to work collaboratively with storytellers in bringing their vision and their characters to life in a visual format.​

I love showcasing emotions through expressions, behaviors and colour choice. I’m an English teacher’s worst nightmare, because the curtains are never just blue.
